Playdate portraits are a fun and totally unique way to capture your children’s personalities. No stuffy portrait studio and forced poses, or cheesy grin of an annual school photo. Your kids get to to enjoy themselves in their comfort zone playing with their favourite people.

Playdate Portraits can accommodate up to 12 children, ideal for you and your friend group to get the kids together. How many children can participate?
Up to 12 children can be included in the playdate portrait session. Keeping the group to a manageable number ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Each child will have their time to shine in front of the camera.
With over 8 years experience photographing children and a mama of three, I understand the importance of creating a relaxed and fun environment. By keeping the groups of kids under this number, our time together is spent having fun in front of the camera and I can accommodate each child’s needs.
If it’s just not possible to keep your group of kids under 12, an additional fee of $100 per child will apply, the session will be adjusted for time and flow to accommodate all the little personalities. Larger groups will require more management and organisation which can change the dynamic of the session.
How long does a session last?
A playdate portrait session typically lasts between one to one and a half hours. This timeframe allows the kids to relax, play, and enjoy each other's company. I’ll capture lots of candid photos of these interactions and the fun games they come up with. Once the kids are comfortable with the camera, we move to the backdrop area for individual and sibling/best friend portraits. Each child gets the attention they deserve to create beautiful, lasting memories.
Where will our Playdate Portrait session take place?
Your playdate portrait session will be totally unique to your group of kids. Once you send your booking form through, I’ll be in touch to start planning. We’ll discuss your usual playdate spots or your favourite meeint places to see if they work for lighting and timing. We are so lucky in Auckland with so many amazing locations on our doorstep, the following spots are just the tip of the iceberg!

What should the kids wear? How do we get ready?
Once your date is secured and the deposit is paid, I’ll provide a personalised prep guide tailored specifically for your group. This guide includes everything you need to know: how to dress the kids, how to prepare them for the session, and what to bring to ensure everything runs smoothly. My goal is to make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible, so you can focus on having fun and making memories.
How do we receive our photos?
Your photos will be delivered in an online gallery and emailed to you within a few weeks of the session. The gallery is designed for seamless viewing and optimised for both premium printing and sharing online. You can easily share the gallery with your group, friends, and family, and download the images as many times as you like.
In addition, you'll have access to a premium store featuring handpicked products of the highest quality. All prints are personally overseen by me to ensure the best possible outcome.
