The Birth of a Mother
I was so excited to be part of documenting Charlotte’s journey to motherhood. We’ve been friends for a good few years now so it felt so special that she chose me as her maternity photographer.
Charlotte and I began preparation by working together on choosing her outfits. Just a little time spent on what to wear makes such a difference to the whole gallery. Charlottes impeccable taste shone through and she chose two beautiful dresses.
Muriwai Beach is the most stunning backdrop to show the sheer power of pregnancy.
I just love photographing a couple who are so clearly meant for each other. Their path to parenthood has been a real time of reflection for them.
This is the start of their family history.
